I consider the kitchen to be a warm haven. I associate my kitchen with family bonding because with the meals that are cooked, we come together for dinners or lunches to share our thoughts and day with each other. It may be a rollercoaster of a conversation, but at by the time everyone&#8217;s meals is wiped clean from their plates, I leave with warm in my heart. Our dining room is connected to the kitchen, so often, I&#8217;ll see the rush and chatter during the preparation of meals. We rely on the stove for lots of cooking. Watching and participating in the meals my family prepares has not only taught me vital life skills, but I get to grow closer to them. The kitchen is a space for rest, bonding, and learning.
