I wanted to primarily focus on abstract metaphors for the story element of the piece. For editing the picture, I used Photoshop and a variety of brushes to created the border around the machine and rays emitted from it. I went through to color in the machine with a orange and set two different layers &#8211; one on Linear Dodge (Add) and Overlay. This made the machine look like it was more vibrant and help it stand out. I used the warm colors and rays to mimic the sun, a circular symbol that I view as the bringer of new beginnings as well as a close to days.
