Introduction
For my final project of the year, we were given the opportunity to choose to create a product for a passion of ours. This unit I decided to explore the topic of film scores, in order to improve my technological literacy. I am not the most avid movie watcher, but I have always been interested in the components of what makes a film, so it made sense that I was interested in this topic. More specifically, I chose to learn more about film scores because I’m very passionate about music production and have recently become more interested in the use of music in shows, movies, video games etc., so I decided to learn more about music in films.
Reflection
During this project, I really enjoyed having the opportunity to have the freedom to work on a hobby that I have a passion for. In addition, I valued being able to explore a topic that I’ve had very little experience with and be able to educate myself about its importance in the world. Lastly, I felt like it was important for me to educate myself about this topic because in the future I believe I’ll be more compelled to do so with other topics.
