Photoshop Art<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In Digital Media this unit, we explored many different types of art in Adobe Photoshop in an attempt to further explore storytelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photoshop Pastel Painting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The first type of art we explored in Photoshop was pastel painting. With the help of the pastel bruh in photoshop we were able to explore this type of art by recreating multiple pieces of pastel paintings and creating our original piece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photoshop Watercolor Painting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Similar to pastel painting, we explored watercolor painting in Photoshop with the use of the watercolor brush. We got familiar with this type of art by recreating other pieces, then created an original production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photoshop Surreal Composition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this production, we ventured off from traditional drawing and painting by creating a surrealism piece using images. The skills we used in Photoshop most involved lots of cropping and manipulation of size and color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Surreal Artist Statement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In my Surreal Project, I tried to go for a creative take on a box with some items that I\u2019d have in real life. This project forced me to think more creatively and be able to take components of large images in order to express my own idea. My initial struggle was figuring out what to make because in my opinion, creating an original image using 4+ individual images is pretty difficult. In addition, finding images that looked good in terms of lighting and color was difficult. If I were to change something I\u2019d probably add more detail to the cardboard box background. I\u2019d do this by taking the texture of another image and blending it with the box. I am most proud of how I was able to blend my items with the clouds. This project has essentially made me more comfortable with trial and error. In addition, it has made me appreciate the original surrealism pieces that I have seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Photoshop VR 360 Gallery<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For this production, we explored finding new ways to display our work creatively. Within Photoshop we were able to create a 360 degree gallery that displayed our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before and After Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For this watercolor project, I used a picture of a flower I took from my backyard. I used that as my original photo and then used Adobe Photoshop edits to give it a watercolor effect. I also manually used some techniques to make the watercolor effect look more real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Multi-Layered Art Project<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During this production, we were assigned to create laser cut art (in my case stacked wood) in an attempt to convey a special message. For my stacked wood art, I decided to tell the story of where I see myself in the future. I used a tortoise to represent myself, and the Philippine star as a representation of my roots. I made this production in Adobe Illustrator. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
