For the narrative unit in animation, we used our 3D models we made earlier to practice and create animations. <\/p>\n\n\n

Lipsync Animation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Like we did the previous year with 2D animation, our first assignment to prepare for the narrative animation was a lipsync. We chose a short audio clip, and then animated our models to match them. To do this, we first had to create multiple copies of the model in Maya, and adjust each of their faces to match verbal noises. With this done, they could be combined into one model, whose facial expressions could then be adjusted. <\/p>\n\n\n
