In English, we were tasked with coming up with a humorous performance to either perform live or record to show the class. After watching many professional comedians, it seemed like a rather daunting task to create something that a variety of different personalities would find funny. But after a lot of research and revision, my partner Fiona and I were able to write our own comedy skit. Doing this project helped me recognize how crucial comedy and humor are to our society and how it can be used in a variety of ways to bring light to many topics that are otherwise “taboo” and difficult to talk about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
