Art I would ADD to my Personal Museum

The Crouched Ones by Manuel Alvarez Bravo

The Crouched Ones by Manuel Alvarez Bravo spoke to me because normally I don’t have a preference for photography but this piece specifically was framed in a way where it felt so artful and intentional with the shadow covering the heads of the men sitting in the chairs. It makes the viewer question, who are the people sitting in these chairs, why are their faces covered. There’s a sense of mystery but also a sense that this could be anyone.
