I liked this piece because of the redrawings and multiple imaginings of it. The idea is to take something that is seen as rotten and discarded and make it into something that is made for art. I like the idea of things we see in everyday life taken and viewed through the lens of art. For me, the rotting core in their own seasons, reiterated, can feel like time is passing by but I remain the same.
