I am a senior at Los Altos High School and have been in Freestyle Academy both my\u00a0junior and senior year.<\/p>\n
Some interesting facts about me include that I am a first generation Ethiopian-American and a slam poet.<\/p>\n
Other than poetry, I love all kinds of music as well as visual and performance art. I am passionate about using fashion and dance as unique forms of self-expression. I am actively engaged in my school and local community. I like to give voice to the issues I am passionate about through poetry.<\/p>\n
In the other sections of my website, you will see how I use unconventional forms to express myself throughout the units. Using the design and digital media curriculum of\u00a0Freestyle, I have been able to enrich my creative sensibilities. I\u2019ve enhanced my techniques on different applications such as Pro Tools, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver while working on major projects. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to produce various works that interest me and have\u00a0the ability to perfect what I made using these tools.
