Light Beams

I took the “before” black and white image as part of an experimental photography light series. I printed the image out and then created a mixed media piece through using acrylic ink, paint, crumpled paper, and collaging techniques.

Fabrics

The “before” image is a photograph that I took of this woman carrying the fabrics in Africa. Using pieces of paper from a book, I weaved them throughout a printed image of the woman, which is the “after” piece.
