I recorded music with my partner, Kayla, in the recording studio. I really enjoyed the experience of this project! We first did a practice session, where we learned how to use all of the equipment. We learned how to connect the instruments, practiced turning on\/off sound, recording, setting up a project, and communicating with the musicians. It was really cool to be able to imitate such a professional environment and really learn how to record and produce music. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We worked with two musicians, Danny and Arjun. They both have a lot of experience playing both the guitar and bass, and they are in guitar club at school! They were great choices for our project because they understand how to play the instruments and have experience recording their music. It was a great experience, and I would definitely want to try recording music again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They decided to play “Treasure” by Bruno Mars on their instruments. I enjoyed the song, and they did a great job collaborating with one another. While editing, we decided to use Pro Tools to add a drum in the background to further enhance the audio. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was my very first time using the recording studio on my own; it was a great experience, and I learned a lot about the software!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
