He came to the studio fully prepared, cranked out takes back to back while being completely focused the entire time. He was the best person we could&#8217;ve asked for this project, he was extremely personable and easy to work with. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Behind the Scenes class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflection<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>For my portion of the assignment, I collaborated with Stephen in recording and producing a song with the guitarist Santi Castillo to create a rendition of Nirvana\u2019s \u201cThe Man Who Sold the World.\u201d Mr. Flo taught us how to set up a Pro Tools Session and tasked us to help Santi set up his equipment, we took turns recording different takes and decided which take we liked the most.<br><br>Stephen has worked with Santi before, and he told me he would be great for this project. What I found out was that he was the best person to ask for this project, he is a talented musician who made the process easy and efficient.<br><br>Overall, this project taught me a lot about collaborating with my peers to record and produce music in a real studio setting. It was more straightforward than I thought it would be, and getting to work with Stephen and Santi made me realize how fulfilling it is to help produce an artist\u2019s work.
