Portfolio

Earlier this year, I was asked, “what’s your proudest accomplishment?” and I wasn’t quite sure. They referred to high school, but I couldn’t quite see anything worthy of merit. However, taking a look back, I think that it was taking the risk of joining Freestyle.

I’ve met so many wonderful people and learned so much because of this program. I think that even within a year I can see my improvement. Here are a few of the projects that I am proudest of. These are pieces that I believe demonstrate the range of skills I have acquired during this time.

My Junior Haiku

This was one of the first assignments in Digital Media and English. This included writing Haiku and going into After Effects including importing my photo, text, and audio. I was able to learn how to edit.

My Personal Mandala

A Mystical Reality

Pastel Painting

Burn this Love

This was my first digital painting in Photoshop. We were tasked to create it with a single brush type.

Public Service Announcement

SUNSHINE!

This was one of my proudest works since it is directly tied to my Personal College Essay. It means a lot to me. And it doesn’t t hurt that it looks pretty marvelous.

Surreal Composition

Dance of Dunes & Dreams

This was a piece I created after familiarizing myself more with the process of how to use Photoshop. This proved to be a fun way though. I used to like Illustrator previous to this project.
