{"id":178,"date":"2021-06-04T02:18:44","date_gmt":"2021-06-04T02:18:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/freestyleacademy.rocks\/~NadiaP\/?page_id=178"},"modified":"2021-06-07T19:22:45","modified_gmt":"2021-06-07T19:22:45","slug":"documentary","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/freestyleacademy.rocks\/~NadiaP\/documentary\/","title":{"rendered":"Documentary"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Introduction<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this unit, the assignment was to make a documentary profile. The assignment spanned all three classes &#8212; English, Digital Media, and your elective (in my case, animation). I began by scheduling an interview. This was quite hard as several people cancelled on me. I finally found a subject, a girl my age name Miumi who started an art zine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After interviewing her, I transcribed it and did some additional research. I then began to work on the English assignment, which was to write a three to five page profile. I than began work. on the digital media and animation part of the project, which was to create an animated documentary and a small trailer for the documentary. I decided to mix 2D digital animation and stop motion animation, which I then composited in AfterEffects. In addition, I used InDesign to create professional magazine version of my profile article. There were several options for this part and each corresponded to a certain grade, so I decided to make a full six-page magazine for the maximum grade possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This project was a lot of fun I enjoyed it. It gave me more freedom than past projects had and that was something I really appreciated. Mixing two kinds of animation was something I especially liked.
