What is the Zenith Project? What even is a Zenith, what is it supposed to mean? In the dictionary, Zenith just means the time when something is the most powerful. So, how would a project be the most powerful? I think that this final project is called the Zenith project because it essentially allows us to create what we want after everything we have learned at freestyle. The project gives us a sense of freedom, yet also an empowering feeling to be able to make this project with our newfound knowledge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
My Zenith project was all about improving myself in order to reaching my career goal, a game artist or designer. For games that I have loved, such as Pokemon, I’ve always either come up with my own Pokemon designs or even came up with my own Quality of Life updates that I thought would make Pokemon much cooler. This is what I have based my Zenith Project off of. I decided to make Pokemon Animations, but of stuff I felt like should be added to the game to make it more interesting. I wanted to make the animations in battles that I felt were needed, but were missing. I wanted to show a Pokemon avoiding attacks or just making them show that they are immune to the attack. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In animation, we barely just started learning how to rig a character, and it was all characters that were humanoid. If my character was more animal like, I would have to learn how to rig and animate the character by myself without much prior knowledge. I will still be using Autodesk Maya, which is still the software we used to learn rigging; which should make the process a little bit easier for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
