For our Reflections unit, we were challenged with the question,
“Who am I?”
The Reflections unit was our first project of our senior year. It forced us to reflect on ourselves and explore both the good and bad within us, especially as we go through a critical growth period and are beginning to transition into an independent adulthood. In English, we wrote personal essays for our college applications. In Digital Media, we created mandalas and art pieces that represented our core values and interests. In Animation, we created original 3D characters!
Through this project, I learned about the qualities that I value in both myself and others. I emphasize responsibility and hard work while also having a very nostalgic side that refuses to let go of my childhood. In my work, you can definitely see many child-like aspects that Ive incorporated, as they bring me comfort throughout the craziness of being a teenager.
