In this unit we were tasked to create multiple sorts of documentaries throughout different types of media. For english, we had to write a profile about someone in our community. In film, I made an expository documentary about a surgeon. And in digital media, we had to create a fully designed magazine article for our english profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This project was my first experience in making a documentary-style project. The assignment was to create a Profile which is essentially a documentary about 1 person. The first thing I did was select a person to interview and I decided to interview a scientist at IR2 SLAC. He did some amazing things and I wanted to talk about him, so I reached out about an interview and he said yes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then I did the interview. Interviewing is more difficult than I expected because you need to comprehend what the person is saying and then ask questions that follow up on what they said.
After that, I had to transcribe the audio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After everything was done, I finally made this article about Andy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
