{"id":502,"date":"2023-03-31T18:10:24","date_gmt":"2023-03-31T18:10:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/freestyleacademy.rocks\/~PaigeK\/?page_id=502"},"modified":"2023-04-01T04:56:19","modified_gmt":"2023-04-01T04:56:19","slug":"narrative-visual-perspective-in-english","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/freestyleacademy.rocks\/~PaigeK\/narrative-visual-perspective-in-english\/","title":{"rendered":"English"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were given the assignment to design a universe and write a narrative story about it.&nbsp;&nbsp; Then, in connection with one of the story&#8217;s themes, we also wrote a research paper.&nbsp;I chose to write about lead poisoning in towns like Flint, Michigan, where the contamination of water was caused by environmental racism, and has caused the citizen to not trust the government and overall had very fatal effects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to what I understood, the purpose of the English Unit was to construct and grow a universe and all of its components. As part of this assignment, we had to write a Narrative Treatment, a Research Essay, and finally a Pitch Presentation to tie everything together. During this, I learned&nbsp;a lot about how to develop a narrative treatment, effective research essay writing strategies, how to make a pitch presentation interesting, and how to effectively explain my thoughts. I feel like I learned a ton overall from this unit and improved both as a writer and reader.
