<\/p>\nFor this project in english we could choose what we wanted to do and I chose to do a free verse poem. I decided on this structure and started to write about the spacial object I brought into class for another project. I wanted this poem to appeal to many people.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The feeling emerges, expanding<\/span><\/p>\n into a big yellow sphere.<\/span><\/p>\n skin boiling, it bubbles \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n this was supposed to be a childish game.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bitter tears, rolling onto your pursed lips, people don\u2019t want to be around you, bitterness, squeezing the<\/span>ir empathy towards you.<\/span><\/p>\n Playing games with your heart,<\/span><\/p>\n cope with the feelings let go.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n A sweet smell of defeat, you are playing a zesty game.<\/span><\/p>\n Airplanes cut the sky above,<\/span><\/p>\n no one admiring them.<\/span><\/p>\n You are playing the attention game, screams.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Soft hands, gently stroke the tears away.<\/span><\/p>\n Rolling waves, drifting down the blemishes of your face,<\/span><\/p>\n all you wanted was the attention of a<\/span><\/p>\n mother, father – where?<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Your twisted life, you can now understand.<\/span><\/p>\n You were just a child before,<\/span><\/p>\n with guided lines:; gated, sheltered.<\/span><\/p>\n A little lemon, under two lemon trees.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n For this poem we were supposed to write about a specific art piece from the SFMoMA and write a poem about our reaction towards it. I decided to tell a story based on my sculpture I found.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Society is <\/span><\/p>\n in charge of the clothes we wear<\/span><\/p>\n does it change anywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unique or not, share<\/span><\/p>\n and don\u2019t let other people pair-<\/span><\/p>\n up with the same style.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Lines, lines all the same.<\/span><\/p>\n Guidelines tell us how to act<\/span><\/p>\n step outside to see.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Reality strikes<\/span><\/p>\n formal or not.
