Welcome to my Profile Project website! The project profiles a local poiltician, Margaret Abe-Koga. A member of the Mountain View City Council, she interacts with all members of the community and strives to make Mountain View a more lively and healthy place, socially and economically. But Margaret is more than a politician, she's a mom and a mentor as well. Throughout the experience of getting to know her, I too, have had the opportunity to observe how she touches the lives of everyone she interacts with.

For this project I first wrote a profile paper in English. The paper is much like a features article for a newspaper that discusses her everyday life and the many others who are a part of it. The paper was made into a magazine in Design. Throughout the project I conducted interviews and took photos--those too were used to complement the writing of the magazine. Finally, I used the audio from the interviews as well as the photos to compile a complete network of the components--my website. The unifying color, red, is also used metaphorically in my Profile Paper, so I thought it would pair nicely with the webiste.
