INTRO<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For my Explorations project, I chose to create a series of visual concept\/character designs, with my focus largely on the 21st Century Skill of Creativity. In general, I wanted to hone my art from the angle of design. I was inspired by our character development project in Animation to expand upon this skill, as I noticed it felt quite unfamiliar to me. While I’ve always drawn, I’ve tended away from character creation specifically. To get the most out of my Exploration, I wanted to focus on emphasizing shape language and silhouette as I approached each design, and tried to remain conscious of those principles throughout my prrocess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
