Hi,
My name is Sam Carmel
This is the start of your journey through my self-portrait website. This website acts as a virtual representation of me and through each of the links you will learn a little more about me.
I chose this layout, because I feel it resembles a technological steup which relates to me pretty well. I have always liked seaching for all the newest cool technology and keeping my site design simple while still having a theme to it allows it to reflect who I am while still being functional.By navigating this site from here, as if you were opporating some kind of tech. control interface, this screen while change to whatever content you choose from the menu bar on the side and the surrounding area will remain the same so you will still be able to navigate the site without confusion. This page is my homepage, so if at any time you want to get back here just click on the Home button. The other buttons are linked to other websites that have different information about me depending on what that page is dedicated to talking about. For instance, on my Family page you will find a brief intro into my family.
Many of the topics that you will read about on this website are important to making up who I am. On my family and friends pages you will learn about some of the most important people in my life who support me and influence who I am. On my podcast page there is a podcast which talks about ten of the most important things that I have learned in life so far. Next, on my essay page there is a personal essay I wrote which talks about my experience in the MVHS marching band (drumline) and the influence that has in my life. The next two pages are two different forms of self-portraits. The first one (illustration), is an adobe illustrator image; while the second (self-portrait), is a diptych photograph. Next, is my webgems page which contains interesting things i find on the web and acts kind of lilke a blog.My photogallery is just a web gallery of some pictures that I have taken, that i feel exemplify my talent. Lastly is my projects link, which will take you back t to my project listing page.
