How can I use unconventional forms to express myself?
This project challenges students to take risks using their artistic knowledge to express their opinions through poetry, narrative writing, photography and art. Throughout the unit students begin to develop their skills with different modern technologies and applications such as DSLR cameras, Tascam Audio recorders, Adobe photoshop, Adobe illustrator, adobe after effects, and Adobe Premier Pro.
In my design elective, our assignment was to take conceptual photos of objects that represents our concept statement which was written based on one of or original poems from english. I liked that this project pushed me to think outside of the box and to photograph things I usually wouldn’t even think of photographing. After our photos were taken and we chose our favorite one, we were given the freedom to edit is as much as we want using Adobe photoshop. This gave us an opportunity to apply everything we have learned about Adobe photoshop and use our knowledge of the application to portray the message that we desire
