\u00a0 Macro Photo<\/span><\/h2>\n

This was an opportunity to experiment with our macro lenses again, though this time we were only allowed to photograph certain things. We were assigned to photograph manmade objects and natural objects. for my final photo, I decided on this photo of a rose. I picked this one because I liked the bright colors and the detail that the camera picked up.<\/p>\n

After selecting my photo, I edited it using a specific technique in Adobe Photoshop. Below is a shot of my workspace in the application.<\/p>\n

Pastel Drawing<\/span><\/h2>\n

After selecting and editing my Macro Photo, Our next assignment was to draw it with oil pastels. The purpose fo using pastels for this project was for us to try to draw the same amount of detail that the macro lens captured. With oil pastels, shading and blending techniques are easier and more buildable than with normal pencils. Below is a scanned photo of my final pastel drawing.<\/p>\n

Public Service Announcement\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

For this project, we were to use any Adobe Application we wanted to create a Public Service Announcement with our own artwork and message that related to our personal essay.<\/p>\n

My PSA shares a message about how people should pay more attention to the relationships they have and just how valuable they are. This relates to my personal essay because I wrote what growing up with a single mother taught me and how it shaped me as a person and I think that parental relationships are commonly taken for granted by kids.<\/p>\n
