The goal in honors was to read satirical pieces and reflect on them in the overall context of our world. For regular English, I delved off on my own to find inspirations for my specific humor project, and for those I looked at comics Nathan Fielder and James Acaster. The two use absurd and random humor which is what I wanted to emulate in my own piece. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"><div Know What They Say<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My piece, <em>You Know What They Say<\/em>, is a narrative trailer about a girl who can&#8217;t seem to figure out the answer to the phrase, &#8220;you know what they say.&#8221; She goes on an escapade around town to figure out the answer and is instead left with more questions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3
