This unit entailed analyzing humorist, learning humor techniques, and working with my classmates to create our own humor project using our humor influences. Even though I had a lot of fun collaborating with my peer we found it very difficult to purposely create a funny piece. I was super excited because I loved getting the chance to analyze comedians that I grew up watching. I decided to analyze and compare three of my favorite comedians\/ comedy groups; SNL, Zach Galifinakis, and Bo Burnham. We found it very difficult to come up with an original idea that our classmates as well as our teacher would find funny and entertaining. In the end, we decided to do a skit about 4 girls working on a school project but in a reality tv form. Overall, I had a lot of fun creating and collaborating on this film. However, I was a bit disappointed when my class didn&#8217;t agree with how funny I thought it was but I know that everyone has different tastes in humor. Im so glad that I was able to work with my close friends and classmates for this last project to end my last year in Freestyle off with a bang!
