This button will bring you back to my old website from my junior year at freestyle. It showcases all the different projects we made during this year. This website really shows how far I have come from last year. My website was very simple in the beginning and didn’t have that many moving parts or unique designs. If you continue to look through my old website you can see how I have advanced from simple web designs to more complicated designs with many moving parts and interesting features.

This page will redirect you to my junior year self-portrait unit. In this unit we had to delve into the world of symbolism and find a symbol to represent who we are. I wrote a poem about thinking for yourself and not letting anyone else influence the decisions you make. This website format is favorite format I have created so far and I believe it to be very aesthetic and visually pleasing. Go check out my Self-Portrait website to read my poem!

My Narrative 1 work was one of the more fun units we had at freestyle. We got to create our own stories about anything we wanted, so I created a graphic novel about a scientist that has to save the world within 30 days. We then created an animation in WebAudio to tell our story. Go check out my Narrative 1 website to see my animation!

My documentary website is probably the most personal unit I made, because I created a documentary on my father’s work. He owns a recycling cars business in East Palo Alto off of bay road. It’s the only one in all of San Mateo county. I created a 30 page book going over what his business is all about and the smaller more personal stories about it. I used InDesign to create my book and there is a pdf on my documentary website, so check it out.

For the conceptual unit in Freestyle we were given a topic and had to explore this topic in the areas of art and poetry. My topic was the feeling of depression through going to a new place. I made three different poems on this and one major art piece incorporating graphic design with photography. The poems I wrote were a haiku, ten line poem, and a poem of our choice. Profile websites is about writing a biography on a interesting person in the community. I chose Scott Delamare who is an up and coming electronic dance music producer with a few hits out on SoundCloud, he also attends Los Altos High-school with me. This will take you to my Innovator website. The Innovator project was a first for everyone at freestyle this year. We go the freedom to pick a topic we wanted to explore and make an in depth project on it. I chose to explore time lapse photography and wrote a research paper on our perception of time as we age.
