Lyrics

Turn Here

I’ve been holding

On so long

Will you lift me up?

Can’t feel my legs

I know you’re

Dead, but for how long?

Bed sheets are safe

Only till

My dreams maim my

Brain, Insane

Don’t look down for

floorboards creak

In the still night

Fight to look

Fight it please it

Creeps then wins

I know you’re strong

You’ll make it

You’ll make the world

Bright with light

You’re all I know

You’re light guides

Mine, and always

Look where you

Turn, for i’m here

Just know that

I love you, know

I love you

I love you, know

I love you

Can a Hummingbird Sing?

Can a Hummingbird sing

without the wings to fly?

Can a Hummingbird speak

to all those left behind?

If you turn past tree’s

with brittle bark and branch

Let (your) limbs be drawn by dreams

of green grass groves and plants

And bleed wrongly turned roses

red

to white

(you will)

I Can Fly

(Interview with Robin Williams)

Interviewer: “Your not easy on yourself in this show are you?”

Robin Williams: “No. You know as an alcoholic I talk about some warning signs like DUI’s in a cul de sac things like that. The Idea of you know have you been through it to talk about it… to see you know this is what you go through heart surgery, alcoholism.. I went to rehab in wines country just to keep my options open and the idea of you know there’s somethings you have to talk about.”

Interviewer: “well you’ve had… you’ve got your own vineyard.”

Robin Williams: “Ah yes thats like ghandi only in a delicatessen. (laughing) What are you doing? (indian accent) This is not for my consumption.

Interviewer: “So you were dry for 20 years?”

Robin Williams: “Yes.”

Interviewer: “Why did you fall of?”

Robin Williams: “I was in a little town in alaska, it wasn’t the end of the world but you could see it from there. All of a sudden I thought I could drink! it’s also that same thought you have if you look off of a large building and go I Can Fly!”

Read Me

You stand
Tall but you stay bare
your eyes
They can’t seem to make-

Make sense
Sense of all these words
There lies
You read between the lines

Words and letters that move faster than cars on a highway your mind races into fifth gear

Trying to Read.

Your daughter begs for a brake; for you to brake to a halt.

Mommy this is too fast

I can’t go this fast mommy

You reach over and realize she’s in the same place as you.

You’re lost
Lost with all but care
You read
The furrowed brows they share

You wonder
“You can’t read this clear?”
You can
But still you stare

Dream in Color

Look, at it all

Can’t, you see why

I, get so scared

When, you say bye.

Warm, holding hands

Heads, light as clouds

Feet, built like rocks

In, streams of thought

White, is now red

Black, for the dead

I’m, wearing gray

Just To Say

It’s all been over for sometime

It’s all been over for sometime

It’s all been over for sometime

But can I stay?

Please Dream Me in Color

I’ll live in our bed

(and) Pull the sheets closer.

Tonight

But can I stay?

Please Dream Me in Color

I’ll live in our bed

(and) Pull the sheets closer.

Tonight
