For this prompt I decided to go to my backyard and take a picture of one of the flowers that had bloomed recently. Initially I wanted to take a picture of one of the flowers that was a nice bright orange and had interesting petals. However, after I had taken the pictures I remembered that we had a lot of lavender that had bloomed a bit ago. This meant that there were tons of bees and even a wasp swarming all over it. I decided I wanted to try and get a picture of one of the bees while on the lavender stalk. I did this in order to show the power of these small insects that carry so much significance on the health of other plants through their pollination. I think I captured the be very well, especially due to the centering of the bee in the camera. Through this, I think I focused the story less on the flower, but moreon what let that flower bloom.
