My name is Sheer Hamam, and I\u2019m a Design student at Freestyle Academy. Outside of school and Freestyle, I\u2019m an active member of my community and participate in a multitude of extracurricular activities. I\u2019ve worked at the Sweet Shop, a local community cafe where I am a trained barista. I love knowing I am making a positive impact on people around me, and currently, I\u2019m in two clubs at Mountain View High School that help showcase that: National Honors Society and Spartan Buddies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For my showcase project, I wanted to feature a project that I was proud of, and that represented my time at Freestyle. Because of its interdisciplinary nature, many of my Freestyle projects have overlapping elements from my three classes: English, Digital Media, and Design. Ultimately, I decided on my Zenith project because it was based on skills I have acquired in both English and Design, and I\u2019m proud of how it turned out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you so much for taking the time to review my work. I chose projects that demonstrated a range of my work. Freestyle has offered me the creative freedom to explore a wide variety of artistic pursuits, and I\u2019m so grateful for every experience. Next year, I will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder and majoring in Psychology. At Boulder, I hope to further my education and continue to grow artistically and academically through the field of expressive art therapy.
