My name is Sidney Nachman. I am a 16-year-old Jewish American. I attend Freestyle Academy and Mountain View High School. I enjoy playing soccer<\/mark><\/strong>, baking<\/strong>,<\/mark> and spending time with friends<\/mark><\/strong>. I have two dogs and one cat. When I grow up, I want to own a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my core values in life is resilience<\/mark><\/strong>. I believe that when I go through tough times, it is resilience that determines true character. Another one of my core values is enthusiasm<\/mark> <\/strong>because it is important to look at life in a positive, enthusiastic way. Lastly, another one of my core values is a strong work ethic<\/mark><\/strong>. I am a strong believer in the phrase ‘You get what you work for.’ If you work hard, good things will go your way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One thing I am currently passionate about is soccer<\/mark><\/strong>. I think soccer teaches you many life skills, and I love how I can work hard and see my results on the field. Another thing I am passionate about is friends and family<\/mark><\/strong>. Building strong social connections is extremely important in life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I chose to become a Freestyle because I really resonate with the project-based<\/mark><\/strong> learning style. Also, both my older brother and sister did the program and really enjoyed it. I appreciate that we are treated like adults at the Freestyle campus. I also appreciate how the skills we are learning will directly benefit us in the future. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
