“How can you find, explore, and/or expand your passion?”
The explorations unit gave me the chance to express my creative side while being purposely open ended. As the final unit for Junior year, I used all the skills I learned from over this year in the projects I made.
Film
For film, I decide to make a short animatic based off a story I came up with with a close friend of mine called Tank Monkeys. In summary, Tank Monkeys is about Logan, our main character, who tries to protect himself as well as the last monkeys alive from the dangerous world around them.

Film Animatic Reflection
Looking back at this project, I am glad I took on such an ambitious goal. I learned a lot about how to draw animatics, the planning required for animatics and stories, finding voice actors, as well as editing animatics.
Experimental Music
For digital media, we were tasked with creating experimental music. My group and I created our own experimental music, each of adding in our vocals as well as different digital instruments to spice things up.

Overall, I had fun making the music with my group members, but I do not enjoy the process as much as others might.
