Even though the tennis balls and the clock are the main focus of this photo, my real goal was to experiment with unique angles and reflections to see how they can completely change how you view a space. By leaning the mirror against the grass, I wanted to create a composition that feels a bit trippy and surreal, blending two different views into one frame. The weird angle allowed me to capture the actual objects and their reflections at the same time, using those mirrored lines to lead your eyes through the picture. Focusing on these angles helped me show how a cool layout can turn everyday, random items into something way more abstract and interesting.
When I was setting up this shot, I noticed how the diagonal edge of the mirror and the white lines cut right across the frame, breaking the image into different sections. I had to angle my camera just right to balance the bright green of the tennis balls with the clean, metallic square of the clock. The whole process made me realize how just changing your perspective a little bit can add a ton of depth and mystery to a photo. It reminded me that photography isn’t just about snapping what’s right in front of you, but finding that exact right angle that makes people stop and look a little closer.
