This piece doesn’t reflect my personal taste, as the combination of colors feels a bit heavy, and the vertical brushstrokes seem unbalanced to me. To me, it feels closed off, which makes it harder for me to engage with it on a deeper level. Since I tend to be drawn into pieces that feel lighter, more open, and balanced, this artwork didn’t connect with me in the same way.
