We used a blend of narrative, expository, and poetry writing to explore unique ways of capturing our subject of choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">I chose to write a lyrical essay about psychology and cinematography. The process began with research. I gathered sources, annotated them, and organized them into my lyrical essay to support my central idea.  From there, I weaved in poetic, narrative, expository, and experimental elements to represent my topic in a creative and thoughtful way. My favorite thing I did with my essay is incorporate narrative elements in the format of a screenplay. I thought it was a unique way to tell a story while exposing readers to how stories are translated to film.
