Hi and welcome to my website! My name is Stella and I was a film student at Freestyle Academy from 2020 to 2022. Along with film, I also took English and Digital Media. I’ve always been interested in creative media like film, art, music, and design so I was very excited about the opportunity to take classes at Freestyle. I think Freestyle has been a great opportunity to meet new people with similar and different interests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of Freestyle, I liked to play guitar, listen to music, and watch movies. As of 2020, my favorite films were Sing Street<\/em>, Back to the Future<\/em>, and Good Will Hunting<\/em>. My favorite band was The Cure and I had recently gotten into some modern surf rock\/surf punk music. I love seeing how people express themselves through different forms of media and I looked forward to learning about myself and expressing myself through Freestyle!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the course of Junior year, I learned new programs I had never even heard of before. On top of this, I learned the importance of collaboration and putting pride in my work. This year had been hard, but everything I’ve gotten out of it had made it worth it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joining Freestyle is probably the best decision I’ve made. Not only did I learn important tools to express myself creatively, but I also became more confident in who I am and found an amazingly diverse and supportive community. Freestyle has been such a valuable experience and I will miss being there so much. I have no doubt that the skills and lessons I’ve learned at Freestyle will stick with me in anything that I do in the future. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
