While in recent times, I&#8217;ve made steps to further myself towards my goals and aspirations, but I&#8217;ve faced <em>many <\/em>obstacles along the way. Many of them are personal, whether that be internal barriers or external barriers, but nevertheless, it&#8217;s quite disheartening to have my goals feel just out of reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When taking out the trash this morning, I noticed several parking barriers sitting on the side of the cul-de-sac my family and I live next to, and decided that they&#8217;d be a good symbol for my mood. They&#8217;re imposing, they&#8217;re limiting, they prevent your access to the places you might want to reach. The sun was at a perfect angle to give this barrier a nice long shadow as well, further adding to its imposing stature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To me in two years, when I&#8217;m off to college and experiencing adult life for the first time, I wonder what kind of barriers you&#8217;re facing now.
