While my dog is certainly a cute addition to the photo, it&#8217;s impossible to ignore the trail and how it bends over the hill up ahead, winding away to some unknown place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It leaves you wondering, &#8220;where does the trail lead to?&#8221; there&#8217;s no indication of the surrounding environment, or where in particular this trail might be. If I never told you that this was just a local trail in Cupertino atop the hills behind my house, and that this portion captured in the photo is relatively close to the end of the trail, you&#8217;d have no idea how long it goes on for or where it is. That, I feel, is infinity.
