Phylleia Gray

Phylleia Gray is the main character of my world building project. She is a skeleton flower, also known as Diphylleia Grayi, and turns transparent when she touches water or any type of liquid. As both her skin and hair turns clear, I wanted to illustrate the skull showing through her skin as well as the flower texture on her hair. The most difficult part of this project was the hair because I wasn’t sure how to make it still seem like hair but with flower petal texture and half transparency. I hope people can see that she is the Skeleton flower itself. I also added a red rose in the back since it’s another important character in my story. I think it adds to a vibrancy to the photo.
