For this project I decided to create a world where a completely new human race exists, as flowers. The settings I made are that there are different flower races such as a rose, dandelion, and other rare special flowers. This doesn&#8217;t mean that the people are flowers themselves, but they just have the characteristics of each flower as a human. The flowers would be human races just like white and black races that actually exist in the real world, only altered into flower types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"22 23 p6 World Building TaeY\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EDxWhkN4JCU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Pitch Presentation<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To be honest I am not as satisfied with the treatment I wrote back in last semester but I wasn&#8217;t sure how I would rewrite the story so I kept it for the pitch presentation. I have attempted several times to rewrite the story, but every time I ended up not liking the whole thing so I just went back to my original one. I was really fascinated with the concept of having flower races at first but extending that into a three-structure story was more challenging than I thought it would be. From creating the protagonist, antagonist, and other characters to building the conflicts and resolutions in the storyline. I think I focused a lot on giving each character a unique personality, appearance, and settings but I lacked in connecting them into the story arc. I wish I could make a better story. Although I do adore my characters and each of their unique races. I thought my pitch would be better to be made into an animation rather than live action film because it contains a huge fantasy of new human races and would be more visually satisfying in animation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>World Building Unit For this unit, we were to create our own world settings and write a treatment within the world.
