Who am I ?
As seniors going to Freestyle , we are at the edge of going to the outside world( College/Universities). At Freestyle the first unit we began with was to reflect on who we are, I asked myself Who am I? . I thought the answer to the question who am I is was about your name, age ,ethnicity , but then through Digital Media II, Animation II and English projects I began to learn that who you are doesn’t actually mean who you on the outside . In digital Media II , we began working on mandala using adobe illustrator , then in after effect we were able to make our core values into a video . Our core values also tells us who we are. In animation II, we learn about several things such as Maya, Zbrush and 3D substance painter which works with 3D animation. One common core value I noticed I had was Patience through my Animation and digital Media projects. In English we learn about world building , elements that make up a world whether fiction or sci-fic and how it connects with our earth world. We also brainstorm about items that represent us ,in another word our essence objects . The following are my Core values and Essence Objects .
Essence Objects
- My waist bead
- friendship Bracelet
- Thread bracelet
- Social media
- Netflix( not really an object )
- Wallet
- My ID
- My hair
- BTS
- K-drama
Core Values
- Patience
- Pride
- Love
- Culture
- Greatfulness
- Honesty
- Loyalty
- Community
- Respect
- Corousity

MANDALA PROJECT
In Digital Media II , we created mandala . We used Adobe Illustrator to create our mandala piece project ,using several techniques in Ai such as ,creating your templates for the project, how many slices of mandala you want, clipping mask, how a single draw on one slice can reflect on the other slices , Artboards, layers, align , object tools, stroke fill color. For the Artboard transform on the X and y axis I used 6 inches , for the width and height 11 inches each. We made four different kinds of mandala, black and white mandala, colored mandala , video that shows how we created our mandala and the final one engraved mandala . We did not actually engraved it ourself the machine did .My inspiration about this project was the Bundu mask ( a carved wooden object worn by Sierra Leone women during girls initiative society) . I decided to do something about my African traditional culture , which is one of my core values . if you take a closer look , you will see different kinds of musical instruments , the way some africans dress traditionally and how the environments looks like in villages ( center oof the mandala).

PHOTOSHOP ART
In photoshop ,we learned about pastel painting ,watercolor effect/painting and photoshop composite . Photoshop composite is about combining photos to create realistic images , so for my surreal project I combine photos to create my own realistic imaginative world image. Some of the skills I learned while doing projects in photoshop are converting images to smart objects, using new adjustment layers and how to use black and white painting brushes.

ANIMATION
In Animation we created 3D gaming weapon, creek temple, fire hydrants , digital sculpting human skull/ head bust and finally character concept using maya, Zbrush and 3d substance painter. Using Zbrush we refine our models, event hough I had no experience while doing i’m glad i did my best .
