We learned about all different kinds of humor techniques in english. We read some comedic books including The Importance of Being Ernest and Slaughterhouse 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Project<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After we learned about humor we were challenged to make our own humor project, there weren&#8217;t any real guidelines for this project so we mostly got to pick what we wanted to do. The most common choices are pre-recorded humor skits, in person stand up comedy\/skits, and funny illustrations. I chose to do a pre-recorded satirical slam piece about the college board with another freestyle student named Akshur. It would have been fun to mimic more of a youtube style goofy type of comedy. Even though I wish we had done some things differently I had a really fun time putting together this humorist script. I learned a lot about humor during this project and I really enjoyed letting go to be a little silly which I usually don&#8217;t like to do.
