The goal of the WorldBuilding project was to create a universe where our fictional characters traverse through our imaginative worlds based on world issues. For my project, I decided to create a dystopian world where civilization has fallen but humanity still persists. We follow a cowboy gang as their heist has failed and are chased by a growing oil powerhouse that wants to get rid of them and take over the remaining land for profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout the long and excruciating project, I felt as if I became more creative with my writing and I learned how to include important small details that make my world more believable. I had a powerful vision for my narrative and I am happy how it came out with connections to real-world problems of a powerhouse trying to get control and abuse people. The main real-world issue I decided to tackle was Meta and their goal of making society adapt to the future of VR and their digital universe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
