Taken in the guard rooms under the Concierge in Paris, the medieval palace served as a royal residence and later armory\/prison during the French Revolution. Marie Antoinette was imprisoned and served the remaining of her life in the stone walls of this building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The layers of vaults in the ceiling of the Concierge in Paris show infinity through their continued repetition and the perspective created while standing among them. The central nave in the second image shows infinity through the one-point perspective composition and lack of evident vanishing point.
