Making my narrative was my favorite freestyle project. We started making short films to practice our shot selection and story writing.

Making these films was a fun challenge for me.

Then we did an exercise where we passed around work and practiced working on other peoples work

Film we storyboarded.

Then we practiced lighting which would be an important factor when filming our narrative.

Finally we filmed our narrative.

This was my favorite English unit during my short time at freestyle . We focused on developing our narrative writing skills we began writing our treatments last semester. Our idea was to pitch an anime to our board of investors which was the rest of the class. This project stretched my creative skills and challenged me to come up with more creative ideas.

This is the photo from the morning of our presentation. After countless hour of practicing in our business casual clothes we were ready.

Narrative 2 was the main project that we worked on during our senior year and was by far the most enjoyable. We learned how to write and tell story’s and turn them into films. This unit was important to learning the basics of story telling.

This is a summary of what I did during my short time at freestyle academy. It shows how much I have grown throughout the year. Editing both of these projects made me reflect on what I made and the great time that I had during my time at freestyle academy. I am thankful for the amazing time that I had at freestyle academy.
