Animation

Project 1: Nametags

First project that we did to get back into the animation groove, and photoshop. I Think this one turned out pretty good. Although I didn’t color the windshield Wipers… (-_-)

Project 2: Google Doodle Loop thing

The procrastination begins, as I failed to get everything that I wanted to get done for this one. I guess I was being too ambitious, but I’m still Proud with how this turned out.

Project 3: 3D Object Design

This was one of the things that I was very exited for, learning Maya. And so Far, I’ve Learned a lot about the program

Since we just got a new animation teacher, I thought it would be a good Idea to go in on a day I technically had off. And I’m glad I did, because it allowed me to get this model done way ahead of schedule.

Here I was cleaning up the mesh for the blade part of the sword, because triangles are not a good thing to have when it comes to texturing a 3d model. it creates some spooky things. With the model fixed up the UV process went 5000 times easier.

UV MAPING IN MAYA

UV Mapping is a texturing technique that involves placing all of the polygons of a 3d object on a flat plane.

Here is a basic Texture over my object. The most important thing for this step it making sure that all of the squares look like squares, and I some how managed to do that. One thing that I have taken away from this is that you shouldn’t put a hole in an object ever, because it’s a pain in the butt to UV.

I was kinda bored, so I made two Objects

And I UV Mapped this one as Well…

Maya Is fun

Project 4: Z Brush

Now that we had learned how to do basic modeling, we moved on to make more complex shapes on Z brush, each object we made ended up having a polygon count that was over 2 Million. This program is crazy cool. I also Learned how to make a skull from a Sphere, theres still more that I want to do with this mesh because I don’t think it’s detailed enough.

Spooky

Digital Media

Hey look at this neat looking Mandala

[REDACTED]

Looks like were gonna show these at the next exhibition, and maybe I’ll have more stuff completed.
