For the Design Photo Narrative I created a diptych quite different from my original story. The original idea of this assignment was to put two pictures next to each other that together told a story. As it was the off racing season and not yet christmas i was unable to create a Photo Narrative that went with my story. Instead I decided to have a little fun with an idea I had had for a while, I dressed my best friend, Megan, up in a ball gown of my own creation and had her do some pretty crazy things at a park near my house. Sadly I couldn't include all of the pictures from that day but I hope the Photo Narrative gives you a good feel for it. Enjoy. Click On Image for Bigger Version.
Sleepless Love
The story of a privileged girl, living in what seems to be a perfect world. The girl's life was perfect until one fateful night, when everything changed. It was a party on a cold rainy night. She had been looking forward to it for weeks and the night had finally arrived. The evening had started out great and got even better when she met her one true love. There were sparks in the air when he told her he loved her. They agreed to meet after the party in the park. The girl was so excited that she left at dusk. She arrived at the park moments later, the sun darkened as she waited. She waited. Hours passed. Watching, as the sky turn light blue it dawned on her that her one perfect night wasn't so perfect and more. So there she sat, as her world crumbled around her. Waiting for love.
