For web/audio this unit, we set out on making a new website that would display what we learning how to create an audio slideshow. This slideshow would display a series of photographs we had taken for design incorporated with the audio we'd gathered from the interviewees. The slideshow is meant to summarize the main concepts from our research paper from English. My slideshow has audio from my 3 interviewees: Yasha, Mallika, and Padma and hopes to explore the significance of Bharatanatyam. I wanted to touch on the origins of the dance from a historical standpoint and also on its impact on today's community of Indians.

We used Flash, Protools, Garageband, recording kits, and Reason. We also learned how to use scripting for the audio slideshow and the pause play buttons. We had to cut up our audio and arrange them with our pictures in a way that they cohesively summarized the point in our research paper. It required a lot of organizational abilities as well as an ability to judge how relevant certain conversations or topics were to what you wanted to convey. Creating the overall layout was a very time-consuming process, but it was also really rewarding when you could see the result.
