The goal of my animation was to create a narrative story, using the medium of Adobe Flash, no more than two minutes long.

For me, the animation was the most painstaking part of the unit. Stuck at an animator’s block, it took a while for ideas and inspiration to come to me. The process of making a flash animation takes much longer than it seems, and can be very monotonous. However, it can be equally rewarding, as some effects are pretty cool (smoke rising from building).

My animation is narrated by Jackson Bartlett, and deals with the world’s most interesting piece of art. As lack of time was a factor in creating it, my scenes tend to not be overly complex, and are mainly used as a backdrop to illustrate the narration. However, I am proud of my work, and I hope that you will find it entertaining or amusing. I enjoyed delving into this topic, and the creation of an animation has both its ups and downs. Thanks for watching!
