The Mandala project was a very rewarding and fascinating project to me. I loved that I got to use Illustrator so much, because it is my favorite program that we use here at Freestyle. I was able to experiment with creative strokes without knowing what it was actually going to look like, and grow a lot as an artist while expressing my creativity. It was also interesting to be able to put a bit of my personality into it, with a more floral and nature type of pattern. My vision with this mandala was to create layers that were all somehow connected in the world- such as the flowers that turn into roots. This was a really good learning experience and I hope that in the future, I can learn to make more detailed artwork that challenges me.
